its not THAT bad John left.. it sucks but its not like you are going to die or it will change your life forever.. just wait and see what Josh can do. Don't judge him while you havent heard anything yet! ;)

I love John with all my heart. I loved him from the MM and BSSM days. He was always my sentimental fav as his dreams kindof came true when he joined and I could identify with that. A young obsessed RHCP fan that actually got to join his favorite band. I loved that whole aspect of JF with the RHCP.
That being said, I am very glad he is gone and Josh has replaced him. I think it's kindof the same situation re-visited. If John's heart wasn't in it, and he had feelings of unfulfillment and unsatisfaction then...BE GONE!!! It really started to bother me how flakey John was; one minute wanting to be a Chili Pepper (a huge rockstar, internationally loved, touring, etc.), the next minute NOT wanting to be a Chili Peppers (do his own thing, be a hermit, not want to tour and create RHCP music, etc.)
I'm glad John is gone. Go do your own thing JF, and let those that are excited about the RHCP and happy to be in the RHCP and excited about the future of RHCP do their thing.
I will always love JF, and I love his solo music, but I for one am glad he is gone, as much as that may pain me to say.

I think you worded that perfectly. There's no point in having John in the band if his heart's not in it. You can tell from the pictures that Josh likes being up there, and I think they are gonna get along together great and be happier.
I still wish a happy John could be in the band, but since that's not the case, I am really excited for Josh.

Chad and Flea don't look all that happy to be playing without John... the only one that looks like his normal self in those pictures is Anthony...
