NEW Red Hot Chili Peppers Album is Finished! But no title yet!

Blackie Dammett (Father of Anthony Kiedis) has posted some new updates about the NEW Red Hot Chili Peppers Album after taking a trip to LA to stay with Anthony Kiedis recently!To summarise, Blackie said that the Album is finished according to Anthony Kiedis and RHCP Album producer Rick Rubin. He also said a title for the new Red Hot Chili Peppers Album hasn't been decided yet.See the list of updates in Blackie's own words below...

Flea says NEW Red Hot Chili Peppers Album out Soon / Summer Time!

Flea was interviewed by Boost Mobile for their "Celebrity Row" feature at the Milwaukee Bucks vs New York Knicks Basketball game at Madison Square Garden on March 25, 2011.

When asked about a release date for the album he said, "Soon, summer time."

When asked about what he's got on his iPod, he said, "Mostly I have the stuff from our yet to be released new record, that I'm listening to consistently. Honing it, focusing it, gettin' it ready for release."

Red Hot Chili Peppers will play in Hong Kong, China in 2011!

I met Chad Smith outside the Silverlake Conservatory of Music on March 20th; we were both there to support Flea during the LA Marathon. I asked if there was any new info on the tour and he talked about playing at The Summer Sonic Festival in Japan - as we already know about, AND also said they would play in Hong Kong too! He didn’t give a specific date, but expect it to be close to when they play the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan because of geographic proximity.

Flea features in a new documentary about fatherhood - The Other F Word! Screening at the SXSW Film Festival this month!

Synopsis
The F Word takes a look at the relationships prominent punk rock stars have with their children. Looking at what happens when a generation’s ultimate anti-authoritarians, punk rockers, become society’s ultimate authorities - dads... Combining archival footage, rare personal interviews at home, and performances captured from current tours, The Other F Word is a heartfelt ride from the anti-establishment punk revolution to the endearing lessons that come with fatherhood and raising a family.

The documentary features interviews with Flea and his daughter Clara Balzary, as well as many of punk rocks leading men, see the full list of featured dads HERE.
